Lady Bengals Softball Ranked 6th in NJCAA Poll
Colorado Springs, Colo. - The Lady Bengals are ranked sixth in the latest NJCAA Division II softball national poll. It is the first time in school history that the softball team has broken into the top ten.
The girls have won ten straight contest, a school record, to earn a spot in the top 10. LSU Eunice had previously only made it as high as 16th in the NJCAA pre-season poll in 2007.
Sitting atop the NJCAA poll is five-time defending National Champions Phoenix College (Ariz.). Iowa Central Community College and Cowley County Community College follow in second and third.
