COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Rawlings Gold Glove Award is the benchmark of excellence and performance on the diamond in Major League Baseball. However, in 2007 the award began to also symbolize the best of the best at the collegiate and high school levels.

For the third consecutive year, college and high school players were awarded Rawlings Gold Glove Awards as Rawlings celebrates its 52nd year of the Rawlings Gold Glove Award.

LSU Eunice outfielder Seth Granger was named a NJCAA Division II Rawlings Gold Gove Award Winner. He was one of only nine players from Division II to earn the award.

Granger, a freshman on the Bengal squad, played high school ball at Iowa High School. He finished the 2009 season with a fielding percentage of 1.00.
