Two Bengals Named NJCAA All-Americans
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- The 2010 NJCAA Baseball All-American teams for each of the three divisions of play have been selected and released. For the second straight year over 10,000 student-athletes suited up to play NJCAA baseball this season, which is the most athletes to participate in any NJCAA sport for the 2009-10 academic year.
Of the 10,000 student-athletes that suited up this year in the sport of baseball in Divisions I, II and III, only 126 earned NJCAA All-America honors.
Raph Rhymes of Neville was named to the First Team All-American list as an infielder and Chance Mistric from Port Barre was named to the Second Team All-American list as a pitcher. Mistric was also a Second Team All-American last year.
