Lady Bengals defeat North Platte

In a physical battle, the Lady Bengals came out on top 72-59 over North Platte Community College.
It was a long trip for LSU Eunice. The team traveled via charter bus beginning at six in the morning on Thursday, 16 hours later they arrived. Despite the grueling travel schedule, they were able to put together a hard fought victory.
Leading the way for the Lady Bengals was Jennifer Hicks. She finished 7-21 from the field for 18 points, and grabbed 5 rebounds as well. Sierra Goldwire produced in a big way, grabbing a career-high 18 rebounds, and completing the double-double with 11 points. Seven of her boards were on the offensive end.
Also scoring in double digits were Erica Noel and Twanisha Tillman, scoring 16 and 15 points, respectively.
