The LSU Eunice Sports Hall of Fame was established in 2009 to honor outstanding athletes, teams, coaches, administrators and community leaders for their athletic performance, leadership and team contributions while at LSUE.  The LSU Eunice Alumni Association, through its Board of Directors, appoints a committee to review nominations for the hall. 

Any alumnus, staff member or friend of the university may make nominations for the award.

Each year, the new member(s) of the Hall of Fame are inducted at the annual Hall of Fame banquet, which takes place in January and features Bengal head coaches, student-athletes and prominent guest speakers, along with dinner and a silent auction, in addition to the induction ceremonies.
