Lady Bengals Win Five in Row; Sweep Lamar, Pearl River
The Lady Bengal softball team is finally on a roll. After suffering 2-6 start to the season, the LSUE girls squad has put together five straight wins.
The girls beat San Jacinto 8-7 in the second game of a doubleheader and have knocked off Lamar College and Pearl River Community College.
The Lady Bengals swept Lamar 12-10 and 7-5 in doubleheader action Monday and then traveled to Pearl River, where the LSUE recorded two more victories with 9-0 and 7-5 wins.
LSUE remains on the road for the next six games with action against Pensacola, Jeff Davis and Bossier Parish Community. The girls return home March 5 against Alvin.
