LSU Eunice tops Panola
Monday April 20th, Eunice, LA - The LSU Eunice baseball team (39-6) defeated Panola Junior College from Carthage, Texas, by a score of 11-7 today. Joey Bourgeios (9-1) earned the win pitching 6 1/3 innings, allowing nine hits, six earned runs, walking two and striking out 11.
Offensively, five Bengals hitters collected two hits apiece led by Jacob Fisher of Zachary high school who totaled five RBI's including a three-run homerun; Fishers sixth of the season. The win earned a season split of two games versus Panola.
The Bengals will be back in action tomorrow, Tuesday April 21st with a doubleheader against Baton Rouge Community College. Those games will be played at Bengals Stadium set to begin at 4 pm.
