LSUE earns victory over Baton Rouge
Wednesday April 8th, Eunice, LA – The LSUE baseball team (36-5) defeated Baton Rouge Community College 17-4 this evening at Bengal Stadium. Stefan Comeaux (4-0) from Breaux Bridge High School earned the win going five innings, allowing six hits, two earned runs while striking out seven and walking three.
Offensively, the Bengals totaled 17 hits with seven of the nine hitters in the starting line-up recording two hits apiece. Gabriel Thibodeaux from St. Louis Catholic hit a 3-run homerun; his seventh of the season, and Caleb Clowers from West Monroe added five RBI’s.
LSUE next plays at home on Saturday April 11th with a doubleheader versus Delado Community College set to being at 1 pm.
