Bengals Take Game One of Series
Saturday February 13th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (6-0) defeated St. Charles Community College 10-6 today at Bengal Stadium. Dane Amedee (1-0) from East Ascension earned the victory in relief of Chance Mistric of Port Barre. Amedee went three innings, allowing five hits and no earned runs while walking two batters and striking out six. Joe Fabre from Catholic of Pointe Coupee earned the save recording the last two outs of the game.
Offensively, three Bengals recorded multiple hits. Raph Rhymes of Neville High who went 2-for-4 with a three run home run. Jacob Fisher of Zachary and Les Aulds of West Monroe had two hits apiece and each had two RBI’s.
The Bengals will conclude the three game weekend series with St. Charles tomorrow Sunday February 14th with a doublehearder set to begin at 12 noon.
