Bengals Win National Championship
The LSU Eunice Bengal Baseball will make their third straight appearance at the NJCAA Division II Baseball World Series this week.
The Bengals came from a game down in the Region 23 tournament and knocked off Hinds Community College in back-to-back wins to advance to the World Series.
Saturday May 29th, Enid, OK -The LSU Eunice baseball team (48-12) won their opening game of the NJCAA World Series over Parkland College. The Bengals defeated the Cobras 16-5. The win moves the Bengals on to play in the winners bracket on Monday May 31st at 12:00 noon. LSU Eunice will play the winner of tonights game between Paradise Valley Arizona and Lenoir College from North Carolina. See below for game stats, tournament schedule, and other information.

GAME 2 - Bengals vs. Paradise Valley
Monday May 31st, Enid, OK - The LSU Eunice baseball team (49-12) won their second game of the NJCAA World Series. The Bengals defeated Paradise Valley from Arizona by a score of 11-2. Chance Mistric (12-1) picked up the win pitching six innings, allowing four hits and two runs with two walks and four strikeouts. The Bengals were led at the plate by Jordan Bourque who went 3-for-3 with a double and two RBI's. Gabriel Thibodeaux added two hits and two RBI's including his 8th homerun of the season. Tuesday June 1st, Enid, OK - The LSU Eunice baseball team (49-13) was defeated tonight by Western Oklahoma by a score of 11-1. The loss moves the Bengals into the loser's bracket at the NJCAA World Series. LSU Eunice will play again tomorrow Wednesday June 2nd at 3:30 pm against Paradise Valley. Wednesday June 2nd, Enid, OK -The LSU Eunice baseball team (50-13) defeated Paradise Valley (42-21) today in an elimination game at the NJCAA World Series. The Bengals won by a score of 12-4. The win moves LSU Eunice into tomorrow's 3:30 pm game. Their opponent will be Iowa Central as they were defeated by Western Oklahoma 12-1. Thursday June 3rd, Enid, OK - The LSU Eunice baseball team (51-13) defeated Iowa Central by a score of 15-4. The win moves the Bengals into the Championship game of the NJCAA World Series on Saturday at 1 pm. GAME 6 - Bengals vs. UConn Avery Point
Saturday June 5th, Enid, OK - The LSU Eunice baseball team (52-13) defeated UConn Avery Point today by a score of 10-2 to win the NJCAA National Championship. The Championship makes the second in three years for the Bengals and the third in the past five years. Chance Mistric (13-1) earned the win on the mound pitching 6 1/3 innings, allowing two runs on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts. Brook Boudreaux went 2-for-3 with four RBI's to lead the way offensively. Mistric was named the Co-Outstanding pitcher of the tournament along with Brett Schulick from UConn. Jordan Bourque, Jacob Fisher, and Raph Rhymes were named to the All-tournament team while Gabriel Thibodeaux was named the tournament MVP.
