LSU Eunice Wins Game Two 10-0
Saturday February 19th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (5-2) won game two of their three game weekend series against St. Charles Community college 10-0 today.
Ben Carter (1-0) of Parkview Baptist earned the win going seven innings while allowing two hits with nine strikeouts and no walks. Josh Sims (LaSalle High school) relieved Carter and allowed one hit and no runs in one inning of work.
At the plate, Sam Carriere (Destrehan) went 3-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored. Hommy Rosado (Barbe) also added three hits and tallied four RBI’s. Dalton Herrington (Minden) and Josh Burris (Scottlandville) added two hits apiece. Herrington scored three runs and Burris scored two.
The two teams meet for the third and final game of the series tomorrow, Sunday February 20th at Bengals Stadium with a 12 noon scheduled start time.
