Chipola Beat LSU Eunice in 10 Innings
Saturday February 26th, Marianna, FL - The LSU Eunice baseball team (7-3) lost to Chipola College 2-1 in 10 innings.
Ben Carter of Parkview Baptist (ULL signee) started on the mound for the Bengals and pitched seven innings, allowing four hits and one run with two walks and four strikeouts. Carter was relieved by Kaleb Manuel (Mamou) who went one inning, allowing no hits and no runs. Wet Delatte (St. Amant) (1-1) followed Manuel and took the loss pitching 1 2/3 innings, allowing four hits and one run with no walks and two strikeouts.
Dalton Herrington (Minden), Stuart Turner (Eunice), and Matt Richard (East Ascension) had one hit apiece. Herrington added an RBI.
LSU Eunice concludes play in the Chipola Tournament tomorrow, Sunday February 27th at 11 am against St. John's River State College from Palatka, FL.
