Lady Bengals reach a team high record 19 game win streak
With a 5-4 and 6-0 victory over Bossier Parish Community College, the Lady Bengals stretch their win streak to 19 games.
In the first game of the double header the Lady Bengals jumped out to a five run lead in the 3rd inning, while the Lady Cavs retaliated with one run in the bottom of the 3rd. The game remained 5-1 going into the bottome of 7th when the Lady Cavs made a run, but came up short and the Lady Bengals won 5-4. Heather Abshire recieves the win for the Lady Bengals, stiking out six and allowing seven hits. Haley McCall finished the game 2-3 with two RBIs.
In game two the Lady Bengals scored six runs over three innings and held the Lady Cavs scoreless to secure a 6-0 win.
Leah Andrus earned the win for the Lady Bengals, striking out three and allowing eight hits. Tina Schulz finished the game 2-3 with one RBI.
The Lady Bengals travel to Poplarville, MS to play Pearl River Community College on Friday March 4 and go to Goodman, MS Saturday March 5 to play Holmes Community College.
