Bengals Drop Final Game of Series
Saturday March 26th, Eunice, LA – The #2 ranked LSU Eunice baseball team (24-5) was defeated today by Sinclair Community College from Dayton, OH by a score of 8-4.
Andrew Reeves (4-1) of Parkview Baptist took the lost pitching 6 2/3 innings, allowing six hits and six runs; one earned, with two walks and 10 strikeouts.
At the plate, Wet Delatte (St. Amant) went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and an RBI, and Stuart Turner (Eunice) went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored.
The loss snaps the Bengals 14 game win streak and ends their 15 game home stand.
Their next scheduled game(s) are a doubleheader on Wednesday, March 30th in Tyler, TX. The Bengals will play Tyler Junior College with a scheduled start time of 1 pm.
