Bengals Win Against Kishwaukee
Sunday March 6th, Raymond, MS - The LSU Eunice baseball team (9-3) won today versus Kishwaukee Community College by a score of 14-11.
Tanner Olinde (1-0) of Catholic Pointe Coupee picked up the win in relief of starter Andrew Reeves. Olinde pitched 2 1/3 innings, allowing four hits, two runs, one walk, and struck out four batters. Kaleb Manuel (Mamou) pitched a perfect ninth inning for his first save of the season.
Three different Bengal hitters collected two hits apiece. Dalton Herrington (Minden) went 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored, and two RBI's. Zac Hawkins also went 2-for-2 with a double and added three RBI's, and Truman Van Veckhoven went 2-for-3 with three RBI's.
The Bengals play again tomorrow, Monday March 7th, in Raymond against Hinds Community College. The doubleheader is set to begin at 1 pm.
