LSU Eunice Defeats North Lake
Tuesday April 12th, Eunice, LA – The #1 ranked LSU Eunice baseball team (30-9) defeated North Lake College from Irving, TX tonight by a 22-2 score.
Jared Dye (5-0) of Mangham earned the win pitching the complete seven innings, allowing six hits and two runs; one earned, with two walks and eight strikeouts.
Four different Bengal hitters collected multiple hits led by Dalton Herrington (Minden) who went 4-for-5 with two doubles, four runs scored, and three RBI’s. Hommy Rosado (Barbe) went 3-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBI’s including his sixth homerun of the season. Wet Delatte (St. Amant) and Zac Hawkins (Northlake Christian) added two hits apiece. Delatte scored five runs and tallied four RBI’s while Hawkins scored two runs and had three RBI’s.
The same two teams will play a doubleheader tomorrow Wednesday April 13th. The games are set to begin at 1 pm at Bengal Stadium.
