Lady Bengals hold National #1 ranking for fourth straight week
The Lady Bengals keep their #1 ranking for fourth straight week by picking up six wins in the past week. Last Monday the Lady Bengals travelled to Alvin CC and captured two victories, 15-4 and 9-8.
Northeast Texas CC travelled to Eunice and took on the Lady Bengals in two double headers on Friday and Saturday. In the first day of games the Lady Bengals came out with a pair of wins that both ended in the mercy rule, the first win 12-0 and the second win 9-0.
On day two the Lady Bengals bats weren’t as hot as on Friday so the Bengals defense stepped it up to clinch two more victories 3-0 and 4-1 against Northeast Texas.
Today the Lady Bengals are travelling to Pineville to take on Louisiana College in a double header beginning at 4.
Up next the Lady Bengals host the last two scheduled dates at home on the 25th verses Bossier Parish CC and on the 26th verses Hinds CC.
