Fresh off a week of final exams, the LSU Eunice Lady Bengals travel to Bay Minette, Alabama for a Friday afternoon contest against Faulkner State Community College.

The Lady Bengals (4-5) are coming off a victory last Saturday at home, beating Dodge City Community College 88-72.

LSU Eunice finished the night shooting 45 percent from the field and knocking home 52 percent of their three-point attempts. Dodge City (5-6) was held to 41 percent shooting from the field and a 45 percent mark from long range.

Against Dodge City, Lida Politopouolou and Meghan Cross each finished with 20 points to pace the Lady Bengals. Brooke Richard tallied 12 points, while Chesley Dubroc also finished with 12 points.

“We are excited to travel to Faulkner State and play after coming off a win over Dodge City this past weekend,” head coach Michael Bari said.

“We have had some of our best practices of the year and our team is ready to go,” he added.

Faulkner State last played on Nov. 28 when they lost on the road to Lawson State Community College. They average just 48.9 points/game, while shooting just 35 percent from the field through nine games.

This afternoon’s contest is slated for a 3 p.m. tipoff, and can be seen on Bengal All-Access.
