LSU Eunice Completes Series Sweep

 Sunday February 12th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team completed a three game sweep of St. Charles Community College today.  The win, by a score of 7-2, moves the Bengals season record to 8-0.  

Starting pitcher Brady Wilson (Parkview Baptist) (2-0) went five innings, allowing one hit and one run with one walk and four strikeouts.  Five relievers combined to allow three hits and one unearned run with one walk and three strikeouts in the final four innings of work. 

Dalton Herrington (Minden) went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two runs scored, one RBI, and two stolen bases to lead the offense.  Adam Angelle (Teurlings Catholic) reached base three times via two walks and one hit by pitch while stealing three bases and scoring two runs. 

The next scheduled game for the Bengals is Friday February 17th against Murray State College from Tishomingo, OK.  The nine-inning game is set to begin at 6 pm and will be opening game of a three-game series between the two teams.
