th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (24-2) won their game tonight against St. Louis Community College by a score of 9-1.
Cody Boutte (NISH) (3-0) started pitching and went eight innings, allowing two hits and no runs with one walk and ten strikeouts.
Three different hitters collected multiple hits, led by Drew Forbes (Denham Springs) who went 3-for-4 with a double, a run scored and one RBI. Sam Carriere (Destrehan) went 2-for-5 with a stolen base, two runs scored, and three RBI’s and Casey Rodrigue (Brother Martin) went 2-for-4 with one run scored and one RBI.
The two teams will finish their three-game series tomorrow Saturday March 17
th at 1:00 PM at Bengal Stadium.
