Lady Bengals sweep Northeast Texas in Saturday doubleheader
The Lady Bengals (32-4) beat Northeast Texas CC, 8-1 and 8-0
In game one Saturday’s double header the Lady Bengals used one three run and one five run inning to push past Northeast Texas.
Brooke Ort, going 4-4 with one run, and
Kelsey Hollier, going 2-4 with one run and one RBI, led the Bengals offense.
Kaylee Guidry started in the circle for the Lady Bengals, pitching seven innings, giving up one run, five hits, one walk, and collecting six strike outs. Defensively the Lady Bengals only allowed one error.
Tina Schulz led the Lady Bengals offensively and defensively in game two, going 2-3, with three runs, one RBI, one walk, and two stolen bases. Behind Schulz the Lady Bengals defense was solid, not allowing any errors.
Next up the Lady Bengals travel to Alexandria for an exhibition game on Tuesday, game time set for 4:00 pm.
