Bengals Defeat Kellogg

th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (16-2) defeated Kellogg Community College from Battlecreek, MI 10-0 tonight.
Kirk Savoy (Holy Savior Menard) (1-1) started on the mound for the Bengals and pitched six innings, allowing two hits and no runs with one walks and nine strikeouts. Chad Miller (Sulphur) came on in relief and threw the final inning, allowing one hit and had two strikeouts.
Garrett Deschamp (Parkview Baptist) led the way offensively going 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBI’s. Dalton Herrington (Minden) added two singles and an RBI.
The same two teams are scheduled to play tomorrow, Wednesday March 7
th at 6:00 PM at Bengal Stadium.
