LSU Eunice Sweeps Kellogg

th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (18-2) completed a three game sweep of Kellogg Community College, winning tonight’s game by a 7-3 score.
Brady Wilson (Parkview Baptist) (4-0) started on the mound and went seven innings, allowing 10 hits and three runs, two earned, with no walks and seven strikeouts. Tanner Olinde (Cath Pointe Coupee) and Chad Miller (Sulphur) combined for three strikeouts in the eighth inning, before giving way to Patrick Michon (Porter, TX). Michon pitched a perfect ninth inning to record his fourth save of the season.
Landon Thibodeaux (Central) went 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored, and two stolen bases to lead the offense. Chuck Tillery (Starkville, MS) added a single and three RBI’s.
The next schedule game(s) for the Bengals is a doubleheader at Mississippi Gulf Coast in Perkinston, MS on Saturday March 10th. Game one is set to begin at 3:00 PM.
