Bengals Win Series Against Dolphins

 Sunday April 1st, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (32-3) defeated Delgado Community College in game three of their series today by 6-5 score. 
 
Starting pitcher Brady Domangue (Vandebilt Catholic) had a no decision pitching six innings, allowing two hits and three runs with three walks and seven strikeouts.  Domangue was relieved by Chad Miller (Sulphur) who pitched 1 1/3 innings, allowing four hits and two runs with no walks and one strikeout.  Patrick Michon (Porter, TX) (1-0) picked up the win as he threw the final 1 2/3 innings.  Michon allowed one hit and one intentional walk with two strikeouts. 
 
Adam Angelle (Teurlings Catholic) and Sam Carriere (Destrehan) had three hits apiece to lead the offense.  Angelle went 3-for-5 with a stolen base, two runs scored, and one RBI.  Carriere also went 3-for-5 with a game winning double in the bottom of the ninth.  He totaled two RBI’s. 
 
The Bengals will be back in action on Thursday April 5th against Meridian Community College.  The first game of a three-game series is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM at Bengal Stadium.
