Bengals Win Series Against Dolphins

st, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (32-3) defeated Delgado Community College in game three of their series today by 6-5 score.
Starting pitcher Brady Domangue (Vandebilt Catholic) had a no decision pitching six innings, allowing two hits and three runs with three walks and seven strikeouts. Domangue was relieved by Chad Miller (Sulphur) who pitched 1 1/3 innings, allowing four hits and two runs with no walks and one strikeout. Patrick Michon (Porter, TX) (1-0) picked up the win as he threw the final 1 2/3 innings. Michon allowed one hit and one intentional walk with two strikeouts.
Adam Angelle (Teurlings Catholic) and Sam Carriere (Destrehan) had three hits apiece to lead the offense. Angelle went 3-for-5 with a stolen base, two runs scored, and one RBI. Carriere also went 3-for-5 with a game winning double in the bottom of the ninth. He totaled two RBI’s.
The Bengals will be back in action on Thursday April 5
th against Meridian Community College. The first game of a three-game series is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM at Bengal Stadium.
