LSU Eunice Defeats Tyler

th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (37-3) defeated Tyler Junior College 5-4.
Chad Miller (Sulphur) (3-0) got the win in relief of starter Cody Boutte. Miller pitched three innings, allowing no hits and no runs with two walks and one strikeout. Jared Dye (Mangham) followed Miller and pitched a scoreless seventh inning with two strikeouts. Patrick Michon (Porter, TX) allowed no hits and no runs with one walk and one strikeout in the ninth to get his 13
th save of the season.
At the plate, the Bengals were led by Drew Forbes (Denham Springs) who went 3-for-4 with a double and one RBI. Garrett Deschamp (Parkview Baptist) added two hits going 2-for-4 with a double, a run scored, and one RBI.
The two teams will complete their three-game series tomorrow, Sunday April 15
th at 1:00 PM at Bengal Stadium.
