LSU Eunice Completes Series Sweep

th, Eunice, LA – The #1 ranked LSU Eunice baseball team (38-3) completed a three-game sweep of Tyler Junior College by winning today’s game 5-3.
Brady Domangue (Vandebilt Catholic) started on the mound and went six innings, allowing two hits and two runs; no earned runs, with four walks and 10 strikeouts. Will Bacon (Parkview Baptist) (3-0) picked up the win in relief pitching 1 2/3 innings, allowing one hit and no runs with two walks and three strikeouts. Patrick Michon (Porter, TX)pitched the ninth inning while allowing one hit, no runs, one walk, and had two strikeouts in earning his 14
th save.
Adam Angelle, Dalton Herrington, and Drew Forbes had two hits each to lead the offense. Angelle (Teurlings Catholic) went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Herrington (Minden) went 2-for-5 with a triple and one RBI, and Forbes (Denham Springs) went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. Zac Hawkins (Northlake Christian) added a hit with a two RBI double.
The next scheduled game for the Bengals is set for Friday April 20
th at 6:00 PM at Bengal Stadium against Baton Rouge Community College.
