Baton Rouge Defeats LSU Eunice

 Friday April 20th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (38-4) lost tonight’s game against Baton Rouge Community College by a score of 10-4. 
 
Starting pitcher Brady Wilson (Parkview Baptist) (9-1) took the loss going six innings, allowing 10 hits and seven runs; five earned, with one walk and one strikeout.   Wilson was relieved by Tyler Venable (Rayne) who pitched two innings, allowing one hit and one run with one walk and no strikeouts. 
 
Offensively, Sam Carriere (Destrehan) went 4-for-5 with a double and two runs scored.  Drew Forbes (Denham Springs) and Landon Thibodeaux (Central) added two hits each.  Forbes went 2-for-4 with a run scored and three RBI’s including his fourth homerun of the season.  Thibodeaux went 2-for-5 with two singles.  Stuart Turner (Eunice) added his fourth homerun on the year. 
 
The two teams meet again tomorrow evening at 6:00 PM at Pete Goldsby Field in Baton Rouge.
