LSU Eunice Defeats Galveston 6-1

th, Eunice, LA – The LSU Eunice baseball team (46-4) defeated Galveston College tonight by a 6-1 score.
Brady Wilson (Parkview Baptist) (11-1) started for the Bengals and went eight innings, allowing four hits and one unearned run with two walks and four strikeouts. Brady Domangue (Vandebilt Catholic) pitched the final inning, allowing one hit and no runs with no walks and one strikeout.
Landon Thibodeaux (Central), Drew Forbes (Denham Springs), and Stuart Turner (Eunice) each had three hits to lead the Bengal offense. Thibodeaux went 3-for-5 with a stolen base and one RBI. Forbes was 3-for-4 with two runs scored, and Turner went 3-for-4 with a double, a homerun; his sixth of the season, two runs scored, and four RBI’s.
The teams meet tomorrow Saturday May 5
th at 6:00 PM at Bengal Stadium for game two of their three-game series.
