LSU Eunice Athletic Department unveils new Athletic logo set
The LSU Eunice Athletic Department unveiled the new Bengal Athletic logo set on Tuesday afternoon. The logo set includes new athletic word marks using 'LSU Eunice' and 'Bengals' in the familiar purple and gold colors, as well as an updated Bengal logo.
The new logo set was created by LSU Trademark Licensing, LSU Office of Marking and Communications, and Strategic Marketing Affiliates in conjunction with the LSU Eunice Public Relations department and the Bengal athletic department. In addition, the new logos are in the process of becoming registered with the United States Trademark Office.
"We are proud to unveil a new logo set that gives our athletic teams an identity distinct to our region. These logos will be great visual representations of our teams and athletic department whenever people see them," Athletic Director Jeff Willis said.
The most visible new logo will be that with the combination of 'LSU Eunice Bengals' and the updated Bengal, which will serve as the official Athletic Department logo and be used by all three LSU Eunice teams. The word logos using LSU Eunice, Bengals and LSUE each feature several color variations, including the use of both purple and gold, all purple and a black and white version, among others. Another visual change includes 'tiger stripes' that have been added in the first letter of the various logos.
Look for these new Bengal Athletic logos on various print and digital materials, as well as at games, for all three LSU Eunice teams. For those looking to grab the latest gear with the new logos, the athletic department is in the process of opening an online team store for fans to stock up on all of their Bengal merchandise.
