LSU Eunice cruised to a pair of 11-3 wins over Faulkner State Community College in the Lady Bengals' home opener doubleheader Thursday.
Abigail Leonards picked up the victory in the opener as she struck out one, walked one and allowed two earned runs on five hits in the five-inning, mercy-rule win.
Darby Bishop went 2-for-3 with three RBI including a home run in the second inning that increased the Lady Bengals' lead to 5-0.
Jeanmarie Angelle went 2-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored, including a double to right field in the bottom of the fourth inning to push LSU Eunice ahead 11-2.
Molly Wilson went 1-for-2 with a walk, two runs scored including a home run in the fourth inning.
Savannah LeJeune went 2-for-3 with two runs scored for the Lady Bengals.
In the Thursday's finale, the Lady Bengals scored nine unanswered runs as LSU Eunice sealed its second five-inning mercy-rule victory.
