Box Score POPLARVILLE, Miss. – A late first-half surge was too much for LSU Eunice to overcome in a 96-61 loss to No. 10 Pearl River at the Wildcat Classic on Tuesday.
The Bengals (6-2) held a 24-22 lead in the first half before the Wildcats used an 11-0 run to go up for good. Pearl River would close out the half with another spurt to take a 49-30 advantage into halftime.
Jonathan Cisse (Grand Coteau, LA, St. Thomas More HS) was the lone Bengal to score double-digit points, recording 12 points on the night.
PRCC's Jaronn Wilkens led all scorers with 16 points.
The Bengals return home this weekend to host a pair of games starting Saturday, November 23 against Louisiana Christian Post Grad. The 2:00PM tip-off will be followed by a Sunday matinee against against Jarvis Christian JV, also at 2:00PM
