Box Score 2 EUNICE, La. – The LSU Eunice men's basketball team continued to thrive at home with a pair of victories inside the HPRE Center this weekend.  The two wins improved the Bengals (9-3) to a perfect 8-0 on their home court.
 
LSUE had a pair of 80-plus point effort during a 99-59 victory against Louisiana Christian Post Grad on Friday, while taking down Southern Arkansas Tech 80-62 on Saturday.  The Bengals are averaging more than 89 points per game this season.
 
The Bengals will take the rest of the semester off for finals before returning to the court on January 4 against Louisiana Christian Post Grad inside the HPRE Center.  The Saturday tip-off will get underway at 2:00PM.
 
Dec. 6 vs. Louisiana Christian Post Grad
 
LSU Eunice used a total team effort with 16 players scoring at least a point in the Bengals' 99-59 win over Louisiana Christian Post Grad.  It's the Bengals second victory over the Disciples this season.
 
LSUE jumped out to a 20-point halftime lead, 43-23, thanks in large part to contributions off the bench.  
Isaiah Payne (Ville Platte, LA, Pine Prairie HS) scored 10 of his team-high 20 points off the bench in the first half, pacing a 25-point effort from the reserves before halftime.
 
Mamady Djikine (Paris, France, Lee Academy (ME)) was the other Bengal to record a double-digit point effort with 15, while 
Brandon Davis (LaPlace, LA, East St. John HS) also shined off the bench with a season's best nine points.
 
Dec. 7 vs. Southern Arkansas University Tech
 
Jonathan Cisse (Grand Coteau, LA, St. Thomas More HS) bucketed a season's best 33 points to help LSUE cruise past Southern Arkansas University Tech, 80-62.
 
Cisse netted 22 points in the first half alone as LSUE charged out to a 46-30 halftime lead.  The freshman guard's first four baskets were from long range as LSUE sunk nine three-pointers in the contest.
 
Isaiah Payne continued his great start as LSUE's sixth man, scoring 13 points off the bench.
