BOSSIER CITY, La. – LSU Eunice Baseball tossed a combined no-hitter in a 4-0 win over Bossier Parish CC on Wednesday at BPCC Baseball Stadium.  It was the Bengals' (43-5) second no-hitter of the season, just 10 days removed from an April 14 no-hitter at Southeast Arkansas CC.
 
The no-hitter was also the Bengals' eighth shutout of the season.
 
Owen Schexnaydre (Houma, LA, Vandebilt Catholic HS) did the heavy lifting in the group effort.  Schexnaydre tossed 6.1 innings, giving up four free passes while striking out six batters.  The sophomore retired the first six batters he saw, putting down the Cavaliers in order three of the six full innings he pitched.
 
It was Schexnaydre's 12th win of the season, tops in the NJCAA.
 
Parker Morgan (Lake Charles, LA, St. Louis Catholic HS), Will Mabry (St. Joseph, LA, Tensas Academy) and Nick Gisclair (Prairieville, LA, Dutchtown HS) pushed LSUE to the finish line, combining for four strikeouts.  LSUE notched 10 strikeouts in the game, the 29th time this season the Bengal pitchers have posted double-digit punch outs in a game.
 
LSUE manufactured its first run in the first inning with Alex Dupuy (Natchitoches, LA, Natchitoches Central HS) getting hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.  Dupuy would score in the fourth as Bennett Clement (St. Francisville, LA, West Feliciana HS) drove him in with a double.
 
Tyson LeBlanc (Maurice, LA, North Vermilion HS) added a third run in the fifth inning with an RBI single to score Dawson Willis (Ruston, LA, Ruston HS).  Collin Husser (Ponchatoula, LA, Ponchatoula HS) capped the scoring with a solo home run in the sixth inning with his team's best seventh long ball of the year.
 
LSUE continues its road swing this weekend with a three-game series at Delgado CC that starts on Saturday at 3:00PM.
