DALLAS, Texas – LSU Eunice Women's Basketball closed out its road trip with a dominant 92–49 road win at Dallas College‑Richland on Saturday afternoon. The Bengals (7-2) took three of their four games in Texas during a four games in four days road swing.
LSUE took control early, opening the game on a 27–10 run in the first quarter and never let up. The Bengals padded their lead to 41 by halftime and pulled away even farther after the break with a 27-point third quarter and a 24-point fourth to seal the decisive win.
Another balanced scoring attack powered the Bengals.
Paulina Reichenauer (Waiblingen, Germany, Salier Gymnasium) led the way with 16 points on 5-of-8 shooting (including a 3-pointer) and added seven rebounds.
Saidastiny Stewart (Baton Rouge, LA, Dulles HS (TX)) contributed 11 points, going 4-of-5 from the floor with three triples.
Edurne Diaz de la Serna Munoz (Ripollet, Spain, Institut Palau Ausit) added 10 points, and
Izabella Henry (Hornbeck, LA, Anacoco HS) chipped in 9 including three long balls.
Kamiera McDonald (Baton Rouge, LA, Scotlandville HS) also scored 11 points with three made threes, while
Jamiya Woodard (Tulsa, OK, Union HS) provided 9 and helped control the boards.
LSUE shot 41.2% from the field and knocked down 33.3% of its three-pointers, while playing smothering defense and limiting Richland to just 49 total points, forcing 32 turnovers on 29 steals.
