Prior to College: A native of Pitkin, La., Lemieux attended Fairview High School, where she was a four-year letter winner in basketball, a three-year letter winner in track and a two-year letter winner in softball for the Panthers. She was an All-District softball player in 2010 and 2011, and finished in the top five in four different events in track, including winning the State Championship in the 1600-meter relay in 2013. On the court, Lemieux was named an All-State, All-District and All-Southwest player as a senior while also being selected to play in the Louisiana All-Star Game. She was a part of four consecutive basketball State Championships at Fairview. Off the court, she was a member Fellowship of Christian Athletes. The middle child of three children with a younger brother and older sister, Lemieux chose to come to LSU Eunice because “it is a great opportunity for me. It is close enough to home and small enough to where I don’t get lost.”
