Beau Kirsch enters his first season back with the Bengals, joining the coaching staff after helping LSU Eunice earn an NJCAA National Championship in 2021. The Lafayette native will serve as an assistant coach, focusing on offense as well as catchers.
Kirsch just completed his playing career, spending the last three years at Mississippi College. A three-year starter, Kirsch played a vital role in helping the Choctaws reach the NCAA postseason for the first time in seven years. He made 78 starts at catcher over those three seasons.
The Acadiana HS product began his collegiate career here on the Cajun Prairie, spending three seasons with the Bengals. Kirsch played a vital role in LSUE’s 2021 championship run, starting every game behind the plate during the Bengals’ stay in Enid, Oklahoma.
Kirsch was a three-time member of the Gulf South Conference Academic Honor Roll, earning a bachelor’s degree in administration of justice and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from Mississippi College.
