Michael Suk enters his first sesaon with the Bengals after spending the last five years in independent baseball as well as coaching.

Suk graduated from Nicholls State University after playing two years with the Colonels. The pitcher posted a career earned run average of 4.74 with 128 strikeouts in 152 innings pitched.
After college, Suk spent five years playing in Independent-Professional Baseball. Suk threw for two years with the Laredo Lemurs of the American Association and three years in the Canadian American League with the Sussex County Miners. In those five season, Suk amassed a 20-15 record with a 4.71 earned run average in 116 games including 198 strikeouts.
