Biography

Freshman Season (2017): Played 10 games with 15 plate appearances.  Averaged .333 with 5 RBIs and 4 runs scored.
 
High School: Played softball at St. Joseph’s in Baton Rouge.   Lettered three years for the RedStickers at catcher.  Named to the LHSCA’s All-Star Game after posting .426 batting average her senior season.  Also named 2nd team All-Metro and 1st Team All-District.  Added 3 home runs and a .385 batting average her junior season enroute to a 17-11 record.
 
Why I Chose LSUE: I chose LSUE because I felt at home and comfortable with the atmosphere. It was close, yet far enough away from home.
 
Personal: Full name is Alexa Michelle Lonibos… Born February 24, 1998… the daughter of David and Joy Lonibos… She is studying to become a physical therapist with hopes of working for a MLB franchise.… Her grandfather, Terry Alario, Sr., played for Northwestern State University Baseball for three years… Her uncle, Terry Alario, Jr.,  played for Northwestern State University Baseball for three years…
