Andy Lee enters his 11th season as head coach of the Bengals softball team and 14th year as a head coach in the NJCAA. The Bengals' coach holds a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Delta State University and a master’s degree in Education from Jackson State University.
In ten seasons at LSU Eunice, he has compiled a 530-101 record (.839 winning percentage) and has held the #1 ranking at some point in the regular season polls seven of the last nine years.

Lee has turned LSUE into a perennial softball power. The Bengals have made ten Regional Tournaments, eight National Tournaments, won five National Championships and a National Runner-Up finish. He has received five Region 23 Coach of the Year awards and three National Coach of Year Awards (2011, 2014 and 2017).
In that time span, 44 LSUE student-athletes have moved on to four-year schools including seven from the 2018 roster. The Bengals have also been awarded with 47 All-Region selections and 23 NJCAA All-Americans
Lee played four years as a left-handed pitcher and outfielder at Hinds Community College and Delta State University. In 1999, Lee signed a professional baseball contract with the Boston Red Sox and pitched two seasons in their organization.
He attended Woodland Hills Baptist Academy in Jackson, MS where he was an All-State Basketball, Football and Baseball Player. Lee resides in Eunice.
