    Assistant Women's Basketball Coach
A one-time student-athlete at LSUE, Brooke Richard begins her first year on the women’s basketball coaching staff.

Richard spent the last season as a graduate assistant coach at the University of East London and assistant coach for the Barking Abbey London Lions of the Women’s British Basketball League.

As a student-athlete, Richard was a two-year starter for LSUE, helping the Bengals to a 2013-14 MISS-LOU Conference Championship and a 26-4 record.  The guard averaged 10.9 points per game in her sophomore season.

After her time at LSUE, Richard spent a season at both LSU Alexandria and West Virginia Wesleyan College.

The Sulphur, La. native was a two-time letter winner in high school for the Tornadoes before playing at LSU Eunice.
Richard graduated from McNeese State University in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in General Studies.  She will graduate in November 2019 with a master’s in Sports Management from the University of East London.
