Loysha Moore enters her second season and second stint as an assistant on the LSU Eunice women’s basketball team.  Moore was part of the 2019-2020 staff and rejoins the Bengals for the 2022-2023 campaign.

In her first stay with the Bengals, Moore helped guide LSU Eunice to a 21-7 record, capturing a Louisiana Community Colleges Athletic Conference (LCCAC) regular season crown.  The Bengals also won their first postseason game in more than a decade.

The Canadian import came to the Cajun Prairie after two years on the staff of Nebraska Wesleyan University.

In her first season at NWU, Moore helped guide the 2017-18 Prairie Wolves to the winningest season and first winning season in 17 years.  Nebraska Wesleyan would go on to make an American Rivers Conference Tournament appearance in her second season.

Moore is a former student-athlete at both the NJCAA and NCAA levels, including her final two seasons at the University of Memphis.  As a senior, she played in 28 games earning seven starts to finish the season.  She scored a career-high 14 points in the first round of the American Athletic Conference Tournament.
 
She played in 59 career games in two season for the Tigers and was named to the Spring 2017 Tiger 3.0 Club.
 
Morris began her collegiate career at Garden City Community College in Kansas, playing two seasons.  She was named to the All-Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference (KJCCC) West Second-Team as a sophomore in 2014-15.
 
A native of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Moore played her prep basketball at Downsview Secondary School.  She was named a 2010 Toronto Star Greater Area All-Star and was a member of the 2012 team that advanced to the OFSAA Championship.  Following her time at Downsview she played for Advantage Titans in the JUEL provincial league.

Moore received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Memphis in 2017, and Health and Fitness Studies from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 2019.
