Freshman Season (2016-17): Played in 28 games making 25 starts.  Led the Bengals in all virtually all offensive categories.  Finished tops on the team with 19.3 points per game which ranked 16th nationally.  Scored a season high 40 points at Louisiana College on Jan. 17, the third most in program history.  James made 14 field goals in that game, which ties for 3rd all time in program history.   Also scored 35 points vs. Mississippi Gulf Coast Nov. 19, the 4th highest mark in LSUE history.  Chipped in 5.2 rebounds and 2.5 assist per night.

High School: Played basketball, softball, golf, ran track, did cheerleading and gymnastics. Basketball… 1^st team All-District (all four years), 1^st team All-Parish (all four years), All-State honorable mention (junior year), All-State (senior year), 1^st team All-Southwest (junior and senior year) etc. Track… Parish champ in triple jump (sophomore, junior, and senior year), 3^rd place at regionals (junior year), regional champ (senior year), 4^th in state (senior year), etc.
