St. Louis CC – W, 10-7

The Bengals mounted the walk-off after

Slate Fuller (Lake Charles, LA, Barbe HS) induced a critical walk to set the stage for Town.
Offense was on full display with runs being scored by either team in seven of the nine innings including three three-run innings by the Bengals. The two sides combined for 21 hits and 17 runs.
Jarrett McDonald (Sterlington, LA, Sterlington HS) was the only offense early for the Bengals, knocking a solo home run in the first inning. LSUE would fall behind 4-1 before consecutive three-run frames gave the Bengals the lead.
Nick Bellina (Donaldsonville, LA, Ascension Catholic HS) started the rally with the first of his three hits on the day, driving in
Brooks Rushworth (Sterlington, LA, Sterlington HS) on a double. Bellina would later score on Javier Vaz's double, followed by McDonald's sacrifice fly to tie the game, 4-4.
Bren Faulk (Abbeville, LA, Erath HS) provided the go-ahead runs an inning later, with a two-run double in the sixth to plate Bellina and Rushworth. The sophomore would score on a wild pitch to make it 7-4 LSUE.
The Archers crept back with two runs in the eighth and a game tying sacrifice ground out in the final inning.

A seven-run first inning catapulted LSU Eunice to an emphatic 10-0 run-rule victory over Nunez CC in five innings.
Andrew Sheridan (Sulphur, LA, Sulphur HS) delivered a complete game one-hit shutout to continue his stellar play on the mound.
Sheridan struck out seven batters while not issuing a walk while facing one over the minimum in the shortened game.
The Bengals collected seven hits in the first including four extra base hits. Javier Vaz notched two hits in the first including a two-run double to end the scoring in the frame.
Slate Fuller would continue the scoring in the fourth with a base loaded two-run single while
