High School: Played baseball, football, and track and field at Ouachita Parish High School. His senior year batting average was .365, career batting average was .350.  He had 6 home runs in his senior year and 14 in his prep career.  Helped lead Ouachita to the second round of the Class 5A playoffs his sophomore and senior seasons.  Named a first-team All-District and All-Northeast Louisiana selection his junior and senior seasons.   Was Ouachita’s lead-off hitter, batting .386 with six home runs his senior year.
He was in the national honors society for 2 years.

Why I Chose LSUE: I chose LSUE because I felt this was the best place for me to grow as a player, get instruction and coaching from the best staff in the country, and achieve my academic goals.
