Freshman Season (2017): Made 21 appearances, all in relief.  Threw 18.2 innings with a 1-0 record and 3.38 earned run average.  Collected 11 strikeouts while scattering 11 runs, 5 walks and 2 home runs.  Opponents hit for a .260 batting average.  Longest outing of the season was 2.2 innings in relief during a loss to Murray State College.  Allowed 3 hits, one run and one walk with two strikeouts in scoreless relief.

Redshirt Season (2016): Sat out season as redshirt.

High School: Played baseball for Parkview Baptist Eagles and head coach Darron Mitchell. Helped propel the Eagles to the Class 3A State Championship game in 2015 and 2013, taking home the title his sophomore season.  Earned all-district honors as pitcher his senior and junior seasons, as first baseman his senior year as well as All-Metro accolades.

Why I Chose LSUE: I chose to come to LSUE to further my education and baseball career at a place that has a tradition of excellence in the classroom and on the field.

Personal: Full name is Hunter James Joubert… son of Jimmy Joubert and Brittney Jumonville…plans to get a degree in Construction Management.
