Summary

Biography

Freshman Season (2017): Played in 37 games making 15 starts.  Batted .321 (18-for-56) with three doubles, a triple, 20 runs scored and 12 RBIs.  Enjoyed a 2-for-3 game with 3 RBIs and 2 runs scored in a March 22 win over TCS Post Grad.  Collected five multi-hit games during season. 

High School: Played baseball for Teurlings Catholic Rebels and head coach Mike Thibodeaux. A three-sport athlete that also participated in football and track.  Richard was part of Teurlings’ 4x100 relay team that holds the current school record.  Earned first-team All-District honors after posting a .295 average, 26 RBIs, 21 stolen bases, two home runs and 31 runs scored during the Rebels’ 2016 Class 4A State Championship season to earn All-District accolades.  Also helped guide Teurlings to 2015 Class 4A state championship game.
