Cameron Horton (Benton, La.) reached on an error and
Bo Myers (Zachary, La.) walked to load the bases.
Bourgeois then singled in Johnson before
Braden Comeaux (Lake Charles, La.) drove in pinch runner
Jacob Richard (Carencro, La.) to win the game.
After three scoreless innings, the Bengals exploded for four runs in the bottom of the fourth begun when Comeaux was hit by a pitch and
Michael Claverie (Denham Springs, La. ) followed with home run.
Hunter Feduccia (Lake Charles, La.) singled to keep the rally going and
Koi Westbrook (Carencro, La.) doubled in the Bengal catcher to give LSUE a 3-0 lead.
Westbrook later scored on a sacrifice grounder by Horton to push the Bengals ahead, 4-0.
Coastal Bend responded with three runs in the top of the fifth frame, aided when Austin Eschenburg was hit by pitch and Cody Lee singled to begin the inning.
Jacob Rodriguez doubled in Eschenburg, while Johnson singled in Lee to close the gap to 4-2.
Oscar Resendez drove in Rodriguez to pull Coastal Bend within a run.
The Bengals answered with a run in the bottom of the inning as Bourgeois walked, stole second and scored on a Claverie double.
Coastal Bend College exploded for three runs in the top of the seventh to grab a 6-5 advantage.
Austin Johnson was hit by a pitch, Allik Achondo singled and Henry Hausman walked to load the bases.
Johnson then scored on a wild pitch, while Achondo on a Bengal error to tie the game.
Pinch runner Josh Burnett scored on another wild pitch to give Coastal Bend a 6-5 lead, but the Bengals responded two innings later with the winning rally.

Braxton Smith (Orange, Tx.) pitched six innings, striking out nine with three walks and allowed four hits and four earned runs.
Ridge Heisler (Mangham, La.) faced two batters with one strikeout, one walk and two runs on one hit.
Brent Hebert (Rayne, La.) followed with two innings on the mound, striking out four and walked one and allowed just one hit.
Hunter Joubert (Baton Rouge, La.) picked up the win as he fanned one and did not allow a run, facing just two batters in the ninth inning.
Claverie went 2-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored to lead the Bengals, while Westbrook (2-for-4, RBI, run scored) and Feduccia (2-for-4, run scored) also had multiple hits in the game.
LSUE will play a doubleheader on Saturday with games against Wharton County (10 a.m.) and Angelina College (1 p.m.).
