Grayson clips Bengals, 3-1

For the second day in a row, LSU Eunice suffered a loss against Grayson College as the Vikings earned a 3-1 win over the No. 2 Bengals.
 
After three scoreless innings, Grayson grabbed a 2-0 lead begun when Jackson Glenn doubled and scored on a hit by Braydon Webb. The Vikings moved ahead 2-0 as Webb scored on a wild pitch.
 
LSUE closed the gap to 2-1 in the bottom of the sixth inning as Braden Comeaux (Barbe) singled, stole second and scored on a wild pitch.
 
Grayson added an insurance run in the top of the ninth when Ryne Randle was hit by a pitch and scored on Seth Mullis's double.
 
Michael Brawner (St. Joseph HS) (2-1) suffered his first loss of the season as he struck out sim walked four and allowed one earned run on four hits over five innings pitched.
 
Grayson's Ivey Tyler grabbed a complete game win as he limited LSUE to six hits, striking out 14 and walked two batters.
 
Comeaux went 2-for-4 with a run scored as the only Bengal batter with multiple hits.
