After three scoreless innings, the Bengals grabbed a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the fourth on a solo home run by Claverie, his 11th of the season.
Temple College (21-9) tied the game in the top of the sixth when Baylor Rowlett reached on a fielder's choice and scored on a hit by Reed Carlton.
The Bengals were limited to two hits by Comeaux and Claverie as Temple pitchers recorded eight strikeouts and one walk.
LSU Eunice travels to LSU Alexandria at 6 p.m. Wednesday before returning home Saturday for a doubleheader against Delgado Community College.
