Box Score

SHREVEPORT, La. – LSU Eunice flexed its offensive muscle to blow out Southern-Shreveport, 123-67, on Wednesday at Jaguars Gym.  The Bengals (14-3) point total set a new school record for points on an opponents' floor.

The win also pushed LSUE's current win streak to 12 games and conference win streak to 15 games, dating back to the 2016-17 season.

After both teams traded baskets in the first few minutes, the Bengals roared past the Jaguars.  Already up 24-12 in the first quarter, LSUE put together a 21-6 spurt to help push ahead for good.

The Bengals held a 58-32 lead at the halftime break led by Bethany Broussard's (Iowa, LA, Iowa HS) 12 points.  She would finish with 14 on the game.

LSUE would continue its frantic pace on the offensive end, scoring 29 and 36 points in the final two quarters.  The Bengals shot an impressive 50.0% off 106 shots.  All 13 players on the roster would score at least a basket with six players recording double digit points.

Sissy Saucier (Ragley, LA, South Beauregard HS) paced the Bengals with 21 points including ten that would come in the final quarter.  Le'Shenae Stubblefield (Delhi, LA, Delhi HS) would net a career best 18 points in her hometown return.
